Just as a note. My grandfather was apprenticed to a business owner in Germany. Then opened his own business in Italy after being driven out. When he arrived in America he again started his own business and became quite wealthy.
He had a saying "no one ever got poor paying taxes."
He was happy for a chance to contribute to American society. Politically he was all over the map but the modern anti-tax rhetoric runs exactly contrary to his values.
